‘Our son has been attending Little Hens since he was 11 months old. He was welcomed with open arms as a baby as soon as he started at the setting and we were given detailed accounts of how he was settling in. As a teacher myself, it was particularly important for me to find a nurturing and supportive environment for my son who would be challenged as he progresses with his learning whilst still being a child-led environment. Little Hens certainly ticked all the boxes.’ (Parent)
‘Tracey and team are head and shoulders above other settings for the level of care and attention to the needs of each child. They will give live daily, honest and constructive feedback to parents, and really go above and beyond with their training, inspired activities and crafts and concern for the children’s health and well-being. Amazing sensory experiences. Tracey works tirelessly all hours always striving to make things better and better and her dedication and love for her setting really shows. Our girls adore Tracey and team and love being in the setting…a home from home. Thank you for all your inspiration and for really caring. So much preparation goes into making sure every child gets the most out of every day. A really exemplary, unique and truly child-centric setting.’ (Parents)
‘We have sent both our children to Little Hens and have recommended it to everyone who asks. Tracey and the team offer exceptional care to babies and children.’ (Parent)
‘I was able to join Tracey, her staff and the children to take a walk to the local village hall where the ballet session took place. Whilst walking to the session, children were supported to develop good risk management skills of being able to safely walk to the village hall and there were lots of opportunities to support the children’s learning and development including talking about the local environment.’ (Training provider)
‘I feel at Little Hens the children’s speech and language development is phenomenal. Seeing the way the team engage with the children, they are lovely role models for positive interactions.’ (Parent)
‘I had visited a few settings previous to visiting Little Hens, but from the moment we stepped into the setting I was blown away. Tracey was brilliant. Very reassuring, knew what she was talking about (my background was EYFS), and the interaction she had with my son , who was very wary and shy, was amazing. As soon as I stepped out the setting and got in the car, both my husband and I instantly said ‘that’s the place’. We knew we wanted our son to go there. The experiences they get, such as forest school, trips, interaction with groups, days out etc is amazing.’ (Parent)
