We are incredibly lucky here at Little Hens to have a great team who strive everyday to make a difference to a child's life. The benefits of our small team enable the children to form established relationships with all of us, ensuring they feel able to try new things, gain in confidence and seek reassurance from any of the team which in turn creates the best learning environment for the children.

Tracey
Originally from the Wirral, I moved to Hurstbourne Tarrant in 2002 and feel like I’ve been on holiday ever since as I look out onto thatched cottages and rolling hills. I live with my husband, son and two daughters and little granddaughter, and as a Mum have experience of working with nurseries, childminders and nannies to meet my own childcare requirements over the years. The weekends often involve taking my children to ballet and horse riding, going on family days out and trying to find time to relax!

My name is Michelle and I started my journey with Little Hens in 2014. I lead the pre-school room and am Little Hens Deputy Manager. I moved from London to the lovely village of Hurstbourne Tarrant to start my family. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl who are at school. I previously worked in a nursery for just over 11 years, progressing to deputy and then managed the separate baby room. I gained my level 3 in childcare in 2009.
Sophie
My name is Sophie, Tracey's daughter. I have been lucky enough to call Little Hens my home, and have grown up benefitting from the experiences and opportunities offered by the Little Hens team. I completed my Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification in 2025, so I could join the the team when I'm not in college.
