Little Hens of Hurstbourne Childcare

Forest School is brilliant for children in so many ways. It improves listening and communication skills, encourages collaboration with peers, lets them use their imagination and gives them responsibilities that they may not be given in an indoor learning environment. Little Hens is lucky enough to have exclusive use of a piece of woodland to the rear of the setting.  Tracey and Carolyn completed their Level 3 Forest School Leaders qualification in May 2019 and now offer a full range of Forest School acitivities, including sensory based sessions for our younger children to campfire building and tool use for our older pre-school children.  This also means that Forest School sessions can now take place regularly so all children can take part and benefit. We are fully insured for Forest School activities.
